Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Staten Island, NY (Projects across the 5 boroughs)

Salary: $80K-$90K

We are seeking a highly organized and driven HVAC Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. Based in Staten Island, you will assist in managing commercial HVAC projects throughout the five boroughs, ensuring that they run smoothly from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC knowledge and project management skills looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Support with planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards are being met.
• Help resolve any issues that may arise during the course of a project.
• Track project costs and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Communicate effectively with field teams and office staff to ensure seamless project flow.

Experience Required:

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC project management or a related field, preferably with a focus on commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
