Position Overview: The Bar Manager oversees all operations of the bar, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and efficient team management. Responsibilities: Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with management and staff effectively. Foster positive relationships with employees, customers, and management. Expertly diffuse conflicts within the bar environment, prioritizing resolutions that satisfy both customers and staff. Demonstrate exemplary leadership to lead and motivate the bar staff, fostering productivity and organization. Manage various aspects of the business, including hiring, training, scheduling, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Maintain inventory, track customer behavior and sales, and monitor costs to ensure budget adherence. Additional Duties: Create seasonal drink menus & stay engaged with new arrivals Responsible for Bevinco Report - maintaining up to date recipes, consistent testing of employee pour accuracy, product accountability, spills & transfer tabs. Schedule employees and delegate tasks efficiently. Ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean, and meets hygiene standards. Coordinate special events and maintain vendor relationships. Utilize point-of-sale tracking technology and bar management platforms effectively. Requirements: Bartender's license and prior experience in the hospitality industry. Supervisory experience with strong leadership and organizational skills. Familiarity with point-of-sale technology and bar management platforms. Accomplished mixologist with excellent multitasking ability. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal relationship skills. Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Comfortable with hospitality and sales technology platforms. Enthusiastic with high energy levels and creativity.
