Beverage Cart Attendant - Full- time and Part- Time $15.50 and hour + tips Basic Functions: Snack Bar & Beverage Cart Attendants are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the experience of our golf club patrons. Provide high quality service to golf patrons who engage the Beverage/ Snack Cart. Ability to operate golf cart in professional and safe manner within guidelines provided. Greet and assist all golfers.
Essential Functions: - Ability to report to work on time in clean, pressed uniform ensuring all grooming and appearance standards are being met.
- Ability to demonstrate and actively promote clear understanding of all policies, procedures and standards as stated in the Employee Handbook as well as the Standards of Service.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all guests.
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
- To attend all required meetings and be aware of all menu changes and/or changes in policy as it relates to the overall property.
- Effectively handle all POS procedures and policies.
- To effectively and efficiently perform all opening and/or closing side work as well as 'daily focus' opportunities.
- To have full working knowledge of all our food menus, snacks, dessert menus, as well as any current beverage programs.
- Ability to answer guests inquires on food and beverage and to be informative food and beverage.
- Ability to communicate our food and beverage menus in an informative, friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Accurately takes guest orders.
- Maintains open and professional communication with the kitchen at all times.
- Cleans, stocks, and maintains the workstations throughout shift.
- Follows all safety and sanitation polices.
- Correctly and precisely calculates each guest check.
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.
- Director with indirect reporting to the AGM, Fodd & Beverage Manager and Head Golf Pro.
- Day to Day:
- Maintain excellent FB service standards as outlined in Greenhorn Creek Resort, FB service standard guidelines and other training programs.
- Offer Members and guests the opportunity to obtain and enjoy food and beverage while in the process of playing golf or enjoying other events. Know and follow the rules of golf etiquette when approaching a golf group at all times.
- Greet Members promptly by name and make introductions with guests, maintaining a polite and friendly manner at all times, in order to provide high quality service in a timely manner.
- Provide timely coverage of assigned course, anticipating visits to each group every 4-5 holes while maintaining communication with other attendants and management to ensure adequate coverage as needed.
- Offer to dispose of trash and empties to assist the Members and guests to maintain a consistent and clean environment. Assist in other ways such as directions to the restroom, club house, etc. Be super knowledgeable.
- Prior to departing onto the courses for service, stock cart with food, beverage, ice, etc. and transaction supplies.
- Collect payments (i.e., cash, member charge, etc.) and accurately reconcile daily bank a t the conclusion of each shift. Process all business for the day and deposit in designated area.
- Request and restock in a timely manner to ensure proper par levels that allow for consistent and quality service.
- Maintain proper knowledge of product, up selling where applicable. When possible, know which Members and guests are on the course by consulting tee sheets, attending line-ups, etc. and create magic moments with favorites.
- Operate golf carts within guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure proper safety to avoid accidents.
- Safely secure all products on cart including cash bank, keys, etc. and other company property as assigned.
- Document all spills and waste of product & bash daily par versus usage sheets.
- Clean and sanitize the cart of all food, ice, and trash at the end of each shift. Ensure health code standards are met at all times.
- Communicate with Service/F&B Manager when special products are needed or there are any problems with food quality, supplies or presentation.
- Assist fellow Employees, Members and guests to ensure delivery of the Three Steps of Service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.
- Notify management of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur. Practice good service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible.
- Because of the fluctuating demands of the companys operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employee Partners are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
- Adhere to all of the various company, club and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.
- Demonstrate good teamwork.
- Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time.
- Responsible for attendance at all Service Training Meetings as requested.
- Maintain good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas of the Club and assure that others are acting safely.
- Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
- Wear a clean and neat uniform that follows Greenhorn Creek Resort and your property uniform standards daily.
- A high school diploma preferred.
- Previous Food and Beverage experience preferred.
- Alcohol and food safety awareness certificate.
- Valid driver's license to operate golf cart.
- Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well .
- You always perform at the highest level of ethical work standards.
- You are comfortable working mostly outdoors.
Requirements: Knowledge: - Must be 21 years of age.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local liquor laws.
Skills/Aptitudes: - Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.
- Professional communication skills are required.
- Ability to take direction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

- Summary: The Golf Cart Attendant often provides the first point of contact for golf guests and is responsible for creating an excellent first impression. S/he is responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of the Beverages carts, as well as assisting guests with wiping down clubs, balls, etc.
- The Golf Cart Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Greenhorn Creek Resort Culture.
Essential job Functions: - Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival
- Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
- Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
- Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
- Communicates all pertinent information to the Golf team
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
- Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
- Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Greenhorn Creek Resort dress code standards.
- Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times
- Colleague is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Experience & Education:
- High school education required
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- At least one-year customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred

- Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, cold, sun & heat);
- Must be able to stand & walk throughout the day, including on uneven surfaces;
- Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull & carry up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs;
- Must be able to bend, squat, & twist on an occasional basis
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, squeezing, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; and fine manipulation occasionally
