Overview

The Community Engagement Specialist plays a key role in driving TOCA's growth and community impact by engaging with local organizations, building meaningful partnerships, and driving revenue through rental agreements. In this role, you'll be the face of TOCA within your region, creating a fun and inclusive environment where everyone has the chance to experience the joy of sports.
Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Partnership Development (50% of Role Scope):
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, schools, sports leagues, and community groups.
  • Lead grassroots marketing initiatives to boost TOCA's visibility and foot traffic.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships that align with TOCA's mission and enhance its presence in the community.
Revenue Generation (35% of Role Scope):
  • Drive revenue through individual bookings and contracted rental agreements.
  • Approach and negotiate deals with community organizations, leveraging TOCA's unique offerings.
  • Consistently identify and secure new partnership opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Collaborative Marketing & Sales Strategy (15% of Role Scope):
  • Collaborate with corporate sales and marketing teams to develop community-based campaigns.
  • Organize events and initiatives that resonate with local audiences and showcase TOCA's culture.
  • Use strategic insights to optimize partnership and marketing efforts within the region.

Outcomes & Impact
  • Partnership Success: Generate one new partnership per month per location in territory with local clubs, businesses, and organizations, driving increased guest traffic, affiliate program growth, and paid collaboration opportunities.
  • Affiliate Program Growth: Support building and scaling the affiliate program (3 partners per center) to increase partner participation, generating incremental revenue and consistent customer referrals to TOCA centers.
  • Corporate Wellness: Established corporate wellness program and ownership of all relationships with all major companies/organizations within a 10 mile radius of centers in a market area.
  • Guest Traffic Generation: Generate 20% of center guest traffic totals within your market area through local partnerships and community outreach.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales, partnership development, or community engagement (sports or hospitality industry experience preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Sports Management is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships while meeting revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for events and outreach.
  • Passion for sports, community engagement, and creating inclusive experiences.
