Volt is immediately hiring Data Center Technicians in Mesa AZ.

As a Data Center Technician, you will:

• Rack and stack network switches, computer servers, PDUs and related equipment into server racks
• Install and dress cables: primary/secondary power, Ethernet & fiber
• Label cables in accordance with build specifications
• Tag assets to ensure proper cataloging in asset database
• Work with hand tools to assemble cabinets and install related hardware

Integration Technician : Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Some experience working with Ethernet and/or fiber cables
• Previous experience working with rack mounted network switches/routers and servers
• Perform repetitive tasks, stand throughout an 8-hour shift, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment as needed

Experience with the following is a plus :

• Racking and stacking
• Ethernet and/or fiber cables
• Previous work in a data center environment
• Hardware installation
• Networking or computer certifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and 0-1+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Location: Mesa, AZ 85212 - Onsite

Duration: 3 months , Contract

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $18-20 Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
