Overview
Williams Realty Partners is seeking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper. We are a fast growing real estate team located in York, ME with multiple individual LLC’s. We would like to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper to take care of all our entities’ day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reconciliation, and bank account management. To do well in this position you must be extremely organized, proficient with Quickbooks—both online and desktop, highly ethical, enjoy a fast paced environment, and be an all-around team player.

This is a Remote Position. Candidates must live within driving distance of York, ME and be willing to commute to the office for meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Record day to day financial transactions and maintain an accurate general ledger by ensuring complete accuracy in Quickbooks.
• Process all checks.
• Process accounts receivable and payable.
• Process final monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports and tax returns.
• Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each week/month
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on YTD revenues and expenses with year over year comparisons, best practice numbers/percentages, and basic financial analysis.
• Prepare and present all reports to the accounting team.
• Handle weekly payroll and new hire on-boarding through accounting software.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in accounting or business administration.
• Strong knowledge of online and desktop Quickbooks.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards.
• 3+ years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Able to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
• Payroll processing expertise
• Bank reconciliation capabilities
