Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener & Horticulturist to maintain and enhance the gardens and landscapes of a private estate. This role requires expertise in plant care, landscape design, and seasonal maintenance, ensuring the estate's grounds remain beautiful and thriving year-round.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and cultivate gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds, ensuring optimal health and aesthetics.
• Implement seasonal planting, pruning, fertilization, irrigation, and pest management strategies.
• Design and execute landscape improvements, including plant selection and garden enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage and plant health.
• Collaborate with estate staff and vendors to source plants, materials, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure the estate’s gardens remain pristine, sustainable, and aligned with the owner’s vision.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture, preferably on private estates or botanical gardens.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, soil health, pest control, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Passion for horticulture with attention to detail, aesthetics, and sustainability.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to seasonal tasks and changing weather conditions.
