Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Gaffney, SC Zip Code: 29330 Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 an hour Start Date: ASAP Shift: 3rd shift Job Type: Temp to Hire Keywords: #maintenance #electrical #mechanical #conveyors A Maintenance Support Technician job is available with a service client in Gaffney, SC. In this role. you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. You will act as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at a specific site location. This is a third shift position 7:00PM - 7:00AM. One week you will work 3, 12-hour shifts and the next week 4, 12-hour shifts. This is a rotating 2-2-3 shift RESPONSIBILITIES: * Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc. * Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. * Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry. * Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. * Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them. * Locate and track spare parts from inventory. * Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet * Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults. * Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them. * Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations. REQUIREMENTS: * HS diploma or equivalent required. * An Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred. * Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels * Mechanical experience with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, etc. * Servo drives, PLC, PC controllers, dc power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photo-eyes, etc.) * Knowledge of conveying systems and MS Office product * Must be able to evaluate and analyze, Semi-complex system/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend resolution of design-performance issues THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE POSITION FOR 3rd SHIFT.
