Job Description
Job s ummary - Support and work in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Communications with marketing, public relations and social media needs for the hotel. Tasks include a variety of responsibilities including collateral execution, coordination of photo shoot/film projects, writing, social media management, email marketing, event production, website maintenance, research, coordination of VIP and media visits, database management, answering telephones, preparing reports, maintaining files and departmental records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Update, post and monitor all Social Media channels including Instagram and Facebook on a daily basis.
•Strategize and coordinate upcoming press & influencer opportunities for The Carlyle, Bemelmans Bar, Caf Carlyle, and Dowling's
•Manage production of all hotel collateral and e-blasts, including all Caf Carlyle related collateral.
•Monitor hotel's presence on all online sites.
•Manage all website updates and content for the resort on rosewoodhotels.com, ensuring all ensure all information, promotions and photography are accurate at all times.
•Work closely with Digital and CRM teams to enhance the digital guest experience across all channels with a focus on both brand loyalty and customer acquisition.
•Proactively manage digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with agencies including SEM/SEO, paid search, and display. Participate in calls to review results and set strategies.
•Develop monthly and quarterly reporting with measurement against KPI's with key insights and recommendations for optimization.
•Manage hotel content on third party platforms including business listings (i.e. Google My Business, Bing, Yelp, TripAdvisor) as well as OTA's.
•Set up all details for photo shoots and filming in hotel as needed.
•Manage and organize hotel sponsored events and partnerships.
•Conduct site inspections for media or other clients.
•Work with Printing Firms to get collateral pieces made for Carlyle outlets in accordance with Hotel & RHR Standards
•Strong attention to detail and ability to produce written materials for the hotel.
•Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, staff and community members.
•Attend occasional evening and weekend events on behalf of The Carlyle
•Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests and residents and maintain positive relations at all times.
•Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
•Follow up on immediate assistance requests, from all overflows calls for staff members.
•Assist with the compilation of the monthly sales, marketing and PR reports.
•Act as Liaison to PR and other agencies.
•Make reservation requests and follow up with Guest Experience which include arranging amenities, welcome letters, special requests ensure appropriate traces are set-up in advance.
•Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
Required Skills •Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, including email marketing, website, search engine and performance marketing, digital content and online advertising
•Strong project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities while delivering results on-time and on-budget
•The ability to communicate effectively internally and externally and serve as a subject matter expert within the field, proactively fostering training, development & teamwork.
•Well organized and detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance to ensure that the brand and properties are accurately represented in the online space
•Excellent writing skills with the ability to proofread, edit and write marketing copy while adhering to brand standards
•An eye for design and creativity to communicate the Rosewood brand across digital platforms
•Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy prioritization, organization and follow-up
•Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
•Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
•Computer skills for MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint and Social Media Applications.
•Knowledge of CRM systems and email service platforms (ESPs)
•Content Management Systems (Sitecore preferred)
•Web analytics platforms (Google Analytics preferred)
Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in relevant field of work
Experience •Minimum two years' operational, administrative, sales or PR experience for a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel/resort or brand.
•Prefer work experience be in the Sales, Marketing and PR.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually Rosewood Hotel Group
