Job Description

We are seeking an Office Manager/Accounting Assistant for a growing manufacturing company in Joplin. This will be a temp to hire position that offers weekly pay and benefits. Qualified candidates must have a degree in Accounting be professional in appearance and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay $2224/hr

As the Office Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors and answer and direct phone calls
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail
  • Assist with payroll processing for salary and hourly employees
  • Process and monitor accounts payable to include credit card receipts
  • Assist with Investor relations
  • Support HR
  • Support all accounting functions
  • Assist Quality Control and Engineering Staff

What We Require:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 25 years of work experience in an accounting administrative/office management role
  • Government accounting a plus
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a selfstarter and driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills and analytical abilities
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word Excel.
  • Proficient with accounting software
