StellarBMG is a fully remote business management firm that specializes in bookkeeping and accounting support for small businesses. We need a caring and intelligent individual who is committed to high standards and is looking to make meaningful contributions on a daily basis.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced bookkeeper who has in depth knowledge and can identify problems and understands how to resolve them. They must have excellent communication, organization, anticipation, and multitasking skills. StellarBMG bookkeepers are responsible for maintaining clean and accurate financial records for our clients and perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks with the expectation for professional, accurate, and timely work.

Here are a few of the core expectations and responsibilities of this position:

• Experience with QuickBooks Online + QuickBooks Desktop
• Knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Thorough understanding of financial reports and where to find specific information
• Ability to identify and fix inconsistencies when reviewing income/expense accounts
• Experience and ability to prepare and file Sales & Use, Property, City/County Annual Taxes
• Payroll Management - processing payroll, ensuring all payroll taxes are paid on time.
• Highly organized, accurate and able to work with a team
• Excellent time management skills

Compensation:

While experience is considered during the recruiting process, we’ve found that expectations within each role are different from company to company… and we’re on the “highest expectations” end of that range. This position will start as Part-Time and will be promoted to Full-Time once you pass your assessment period and are able to work independently.
