Employer Industry: Information Technology Solutions Provider Why consider this job opportunity: Competitive compensation package based on experience Opportunity to work on mission-critical cybersecurity initiatives within the federal government Potential for remote work options depending on project requirements Supportive work environment that values innovative problem-solving Chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Conduct cybersecurity assessments and manage compliance of federal information systems using CSAM or JCAM Assist in implementing and maintaining Zero-Trust (ZT) security frameworks Support the ATO (Authority to Operate) process by preparing and reviewing necessary documentation Apply the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to manage cybersecurity risks across federal IT systems Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and provide support for audits What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Proven experience with CSAM or JCAM tools for cybersecurity assessments and management Deep understanding of Zero-Trust (ZT) architecture within a federal context Strong knowledge of RMF processes and federal cybersecurity regulations Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience working within federal government cybersecurity frameworks Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity standards, especially NIST SP 800-53, SP 800-37, and SP 800-171 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, including vulnerability scanning and security monitoring We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
