Position Summary
To transport students to and from school and other sites within designated route(s) and to ensure the safety of the student passengers while in a Kayne Eras school vehicle. Employees in this classification receive general supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the safe operation of a school vehicle and for ensuring the safety of student passengers while meeting established bus schedules.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work Environment
This is a school environment for students (K–12th grade) who have varying degrees of learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities. Employee may encounter students who are in crisis, exhibiting emotional/psychological distress or behaving in an aggressive manner. Administrative work will be performed in a separate office. However, incumbent will circulate in classrooms, outdoors, and other locations for meetings and special events. Environment may include frequent interruptions, loud noise, odors, varying indoor temperature, and drafts. Outdoor temperature and weather will vary.Physical Requirements
