About the job SharePoint Developer
Position: SharePoint Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Developer to join our team at Mfinite Consulting LLC. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities: - Design and develop customized SharePoint solutions based on client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Develop and implement workflows, forms, and custom web parts using SharePoint Designer and other tools
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all SharePoint solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SharePoint applications
- Stay updated with the latest SharePoint technologies and trends
- Train and support end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices
- Work closely with project managers and other developers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency
- Assist in the planning and execution of SharePoint migrations and upgrades
- Maintain and optimize SharePoint farm performance and security
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, development, and administration
- Proficient in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 is a plus
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development is a plus
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- SharePoint certifications are a plus
Work Locations :
- Work must be performed on-site at all DPSCS locations across the State, with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
- Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore, MD, and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville, MD.
- Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
