Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description Join our team: We are a privately owned Boutique Resort Spa looking for a licensed Massage Therapist to provide massage therapy and body treatment for our guests. You must be experienced in massage and provide excellent customer service. You must be well-trained and highly experienced with various massage techniques. You must be able to follow protocols and all safety procedures. Responsibilities: Assess guests' needs and exceed their expectations Consistently provide highest level of service and professionalism Maintain a pleasant, hygienic, and safe environment for the guests Politely converse with guests to and from treatment rooms establishing a professional rapport Consult with guest to identify their needs and recommend appropriate massage service Ensure all intake paperwork is completed correctly and accurately Comply with Health and Safety standards to ensure the highest level of service Promote teamwork within the therapist team, especially during Couple's services Upon completion for services, promote other areas within the resort such as dining suggestions, activities, special events, promotions, etc. Comply with uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards set forth by Spa Management Team Qualifications: Certified Massage Therapist with current California Certification Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Commitment to maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Willing to learn, grow, and adapt to protocols presented by the Spa Hospitality experience highly desired Experience with guest with high expectations/luxury environments highly desired Takes pride in the art of hands-on healing and works well in group settings Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive and collaborative work environment Join our team at Spa Relais and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional wellness and relaxation services to our valued guests. Requirements Desired Skills & Experiences: CA Certified - Bring a valid CA Certification High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience as a Massage Therapist Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Spa industry Excellent knowledge and comprehension of treatment protocols Proficient computer skills for payroll time clock and daily schedules Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written Excellent people skills Well-groomed, professional appearance Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to walk short distances and stand for extended periods of time Comfortable with performing massages on diverse clients Physical Demands: Stand for long periods of time Repetitive movements Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or table controls Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
