Job Details Our construction company is currently seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, specifically focusing on roofing projects. The Superintendent will work closely with our project managers and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, with a focus on roofing projects.
- Manage and coordinate construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including budgets, schedules, and quality control measures.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that all workers are properly trained and equipped to work safely.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and to address any concerns or issues.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in construction, with a focus on roofing projects.
- Proven experience as a superintendent, with a track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management software.
