Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in SeaTac, Washington.

Duties:

  • Act with advanced knowledge of the implementation and maintenance of company's IT infrastructure
  • Apply advanced skills in multiple technical areas such as containerization, automation, cloud platforms, hardware/software administration, enterprise architecture, and security and compliance to improve operational reliability and IT maturity
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, maintaining the strategy and vision of AAG’s technology systems and ensuring alignment of forward-looking strategies and roadmaps
  • Take initiative to research, develop, and communicate technology roadmaps, opportunities, and constraints to IT leadership
  • Apply industry best practices to the continuous process improvement life cycle that drives operational excellence
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation schedule

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of technical IT experience or a related field
  • Proven experience working in data center environments, including but not limited to Active Directory (AD), VMware, Citrix, NetApp, Cisco, F5, and SCCM
  • Hands-on experience with hosted cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency with enterprise operating systems, including Windows Server, Windows 10, and Enterprise Linux
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions
  • Strong ability to automate operational processes with precision, ensuring compliance with security requirements and alignment with customer service standards, while minimizing errors and enhancing efficiency
