The New Process/Product Introduction Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful roll out of changes to existing products and processes within the Residential Energy Business. They will work closely with engineering, supply chain, demand planning and operations teams to ensure changes are successful. What You'll Do Serve as key point of contact for all cross-functional changes to existing products/process Run Change Control Board, meeting with change owners to ensure changes have well defined positive business impact prior to leadership review Run trials, working with operations teams and customers to select candidates. Track trials through systems and ensure they are successful learning opportunities Support trial data analysis (with change owner) to justify move to full scale launch, manage supersession and update site design tools for successful launch Create and maintain reports and presentations on a regular basis focused on project schedules and budgets, using data visualization Engage actively with individuals and multi-functional teams to ensure that projects are done on time and within budget Implement process improvements and scalability tools in above areas What You'll Bring 5+ years of project management experience in new product introduction Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience Understanding of manufacturing/operations; experience in residential energy is preferred Proven ability to operate under pressure with rigid time constraints Ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours Ability to work closely with cross-functional departments; excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate across cultures and geographic regions Compensation and Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) LGBTQ+ care concierge services 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $100,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
