We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Technical Sales Engineer who can help us expand and engage our business relationships. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, engaging and supporting our customer portfolio, while collaborating with our Business Development and Applications teams to identify and propose innovative solutions that utilize ECAM to meet evolving market needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers in the thermal management, semiconductor packaging, additive manufacturing and/or other markets, and develop appropriate customer engagement plans to reach key stakeholders at the companies
• Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions and often requiring innovative materials and/or processes
• Learn and develop a deep understanding of the capabilities, applications, and future of ECAM, and contribute to the development of next-generation additive manufacturing by identifying and understanding market needs and ECAM’s potential role in meeting them
• Collaborate with Business Development and Applications team to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide both technical and commercial support on key programs
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain how ECAM can support prospective and existing customers
• Visit prospective customers at to demonstrate the capabilities of ECAM, show technical samples, and to inform them about ECAM’s advantages
• Attend trade shows and seminars to promote ECAM and/or to learn more about industry developments
• Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant engineering/science discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience as an Applications Engineer in thermal management, semiconductor packaging, or additive manufacturing industries
• Proven track record in reaching new customers and cultivating customer relationships
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market and customer research and distil into actionable plans to grow and support business objectives
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through multiple modes, especially presentations
• Ability to negotiate and reconcile customer needs with business objectives
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, domestic and international

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience as a Sales Engineer in thermal management solutions, additive manufacturing, or RF antenna engineering

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 annually.
