Our company is currently seeking ​a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our client's monthly accounting needs.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Prepare monthly financial statements utilizing Quickbooks Online
• Check the accuracy of business transactions and complete bank/credit card reconciliation monthly
• Perform data entry and administrative duties including but not limited to answering phone, communications via email, and assisting the team on other projects as needed
• Prepare, file, and initiate sales tax payments for multiple states.
• Onboard new clients, set up Quickbooks data files as needed, coordinate with Office Manager for onboarding organization
• Provide training and support to new and existing clients as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a public accounting setting preferred. Ideally 5 years of experience but will consider less time with the right candidate
• Experience with Quickbooks Online, Excel, and Word
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to build and maintain strong communication with clients and our team
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines without exception
• Priority on an entrepreneurial mindset will be desired
